Spreading Out

Non-directional trading can be an important part of your trading system. When you learn how to use iron condors, you can trade without spending your time worrying whether that market goes up, down or sideways.

John White has taught countless students his system of non-directional trading. In this live one-day class you'll learn that system that he's taught around the country. The newly developed class explains his non-directional system of trading.

An iron condor is a position that includes two credit spreads - a bull put spread and a bear call spread - on the same index. But only an untrained student would go out and enter into a position like this without knowing how to make sure it's properly structured. Otherwise you can run the risk of making a mistake or leaving potential profits on the table. During the Spreading Out seminar, John will explain a trading system that may be ideal for students who are seeking a more conservative strategy. You shouldn't expect to make huge profits with these positions, but neither is there likely to be as much likelihood for whopping losses. Trading iron condors is also a strategy that doesn't require you to spend hours and hours watching the market each day. You spend minimal time monitoring the positions.

And since trading positions sometimes don't go exactly the way you have it planned, John will teach you how to make adjustments if the trade takes a wrong turn. You'll learn ways to exit early, as well as roll up or down on positions, when it makes sense to mitigate a loss.

More than anything else, John will show you several scenarios and how to make the moves under historical market conditions. You'll be able to see for yourself how to enter a position, monitor it, look for the most appropriate exit, and how to handle any adjustments.
