Markay started her career in Marketing and Public Relations roles for worldwide companies in the healthcare and time management industries. In 1995, she explored trading as a supplemental income, and discovered her true professional passion.
In her early trading days, Markay struggled with knowing when to enter and exit a trade, missing the timing element that made a trade successful. After being introduced to a “chartist” – a concept she initially thought ridiculous – she set out to disprove the theory. Through exhaustive research, she did indeed learn to recognize patterns and work with a variety of indicators. From this, she developed her own system, and in just two years, grew her starting account from $2,000 to more than $2 million.
Markay has developed a suite of products and services in a proven proprietary system that aligns with her trading philosophy: practical, simple, and specific. For example, Markay's Scans, a subscription-based service, reveals simple trading patterns that help her clients see momentum stocks when they first begin to move so that exits and entries are made with confidence.
